The company’s OFFICIAL language is English – All the documentation available to the members of the project MUST be available in English.
Should 2 or more members agree during meeting to use verbal language different than English for the meeting the decision MUST be revokable by 1 or many members in the meeting not wanting to use this language.
Even smalltalk in any other different language MUST be converted to English as soon as a new member enters the meeting, who does not know the language you are communicating in …
So there is nothing special about the Bulgarian language ( the mother tongue for many of the project members) , nor Finnish ( the mother tongue of some project members and the majority of our Customers) or Ukranian ( the mother tongue of some project members) or Russian ( the mother tongue of some project members ) or Brasilian Portuguese ( the mother tongue of some project members ) … This statement was just to make us humble …
There is nothing special about English neither – it JUST happens to be the de-facto language for the IT sector ( and for business globally as a matter of fact ) – thus it is imperative to use it as described in these communication principles in the project(s)
NOR BTW. as EVERY folk / ethnicity claims is IT the chosen by God – it just MIGHT be something you have been told to from the members of YOUR ethnicity / folk – people having been living abroad and / or persons having more than 1 mother tongues know this … so let’s just be humble …
