Anything you MIGHT communicate MIGHT turn into Jira issue(s)

What does it mean ?!

In Csitea we are quite explicit and concern with our time usage, meaning that we explicitly reserve time for communication and register it in Jira.

Now, “a small favor” to somebody else to check something or provide you with some data or info , might seem “small” from your point of view, but might actually require over 15 min to complete … In this case the other person and most probably also you MIGHT create an Jira issue on this communication, so be careful with your wording, be explicit and of course ALWAYS start by asking yourself – could the business be more efficient without me , in the first place communicating this … aka could I do something by myself to find out quickly that info etc.

Now if you loose more than 15 min and you KNOW that the other person WILL BE faster than you , of course you should communicate what you want – aka the purpose for us IS to be flexible and adaptive , but NOT over-reactive.

Than is , ONCE AGAIN use your common sense.

How can we help?
